Serving the more than 25,000 equines in Clark County & their related services.
The Clark County Executive Horse Council is dedicated to sharing, educating and supporting equine needs throughout Clark County. Their goal is to protect and preserve the rights and interests of horse owners and enthusiasts. Over the last several years, one of CCEHC’s main missions has been to promote and support the ADOPT-A-HORSE Program and RIPLEY’S AID Program. Both programs are designed to accommodate horses that are in dire need.
The CCEHC Adopt-A-Horse Program was created to accommodate area horses that are in dire need.
We have a network of several homes throughout Clark County that will foster a horse or horses for a temporary period of time until a suitable permanent home can be found for the horse.
Ripley’s Horse Aid Neglect Prevention Program uses vouchers to provide short-term assistance to horse owners who are in temporary financial distress.
Services provided include hay, grain and supplements, farrier service, teeth floats, castration, euthanasia and carcass removal.
Pioneer Feed’s Annual Giving Tree
ADOPT-A-HORSE PROGRAM GIVING TREE
The Clark County Executive Horse Council works throughout the county, taking in horses that are in dire need and placing them in foster homes for rehabilitation & adoption.
Thanks to the generosity of our customers, the Pioneer Feed GIVING TREE raised over $600 to assist the “angels” offering Foster Care.
Donations are accepted all year long!
